The Best BodyWork
How can you tell the best bodywork when you see it? You can’t see it! The Auto Resources repair systems square your unibody or frame vehicle to factory tolerances or better. Then our welding and assembly methods restore the structural integrity and driveability of your vehicle. Finally, we use the best parts and finishing techniques to restore the original lines and vital functions of your vehicle.

The Best Technicians
At Auto Resources, our repairmen are our greatest resource. Our team of skilled technicians must meet the demanding Auto Resources standards of quality at each stage of repair. Standards that protect you, your family, and your investment.

The Best Equipment
Auto Resources uses the most effective tools modern technology has to offer…3-D measurement systems, MIG welding, dedicated unibody fixtures, and Molecular plasma cutters, to name a few. Additionally, a really great repair still requires the good old fashioned craftsmanship you’ll find at Auto Resources.

Our System

The Estimate
The estimator will inspect your vehicle to assess the amount of damage sustained. An estimate is prepared and you will be given a completion date and asked to sign an authorization for repairs. The estimate is submitted to your insurance company for their approval of the repairs to be completed.

Parts Are Ordered
The parts manager will order all the parts needed for the repair. Once parts arrive the vehicle can then be scheduled for repairs. Arrangements will be made with the car rental company if you need a rental.

Remove Damaged Parts
Your vehicle is in the shop and is ready to be disassembled. Once parts have been removed, a secondary inspection will determine if there is any damage that couldn’t be detected initially. If more damage is found, a supplemental report will be completed and sent to the insurance company. Once approved, any additional parts will be ordered and an updated completion date will be given.

Body and Structural Repair
If necessary, your vehicle will be placed on unibody repair equipment. New panels will be prepared and installed. Priming, sealing, and corrosion protection is added to the new parts. All work is inspected and tested. Once the repairs are signed off, the vehicle will head to the paint department.

Painting
First, your vehicle will be pressure washed and chemically cleaned. Next, it is prepped, primed, sanded, and sealed. The last stage before entering the paint booth is taping and masking around the area(s) to be painted, which will protect the parts of the vehicle that will not need painting. Any dust particles will be removed so as not to interfere with the painting process. The vehicle is now ready to undergo multi-step refinishing using an acrylic urethane paint system.

The Finishing Touches
Parts that were removed for painting are reassembled, the vehicle is realigned, and climate control is checked for proper operation. The vehicle is then detailed and any extras (such as pinstripes) are taken care of. The vehicle is inspected and taken for a test drive. After it checks out, you will be notified and a time is set for picking up your finished vehicle.
